Yep, that worked. So commit 68291d7de759791a506b9a5dad5c71826124d5e8 on Rails 4.1 works. Perhaps warrants a new release?

Return effective_url as string (without port details)

@bblimke good catch 👍 - have updated to only remove standard ports

Typhoeus::Response#effective_url should be a string, Addressable::URI returned
