It's hard to use batch script / cmd files with parameters which contain %&= and possibly some other characters, because many characters have special meaning in batch-world, even if surrounded...

With "just install a package" I don't necessarily mean a distro package, some bundled binaries and config files would be fine as well. I would probably succeed putting them somewhere...
