Drop the `.git` at the end and it works 😄 Try: ```shell cargo-generate --git CosWasm/cw-template --name starter-contract ```

hmmm, thats weird, I **think** I used a plain 15.2 version, but I might have used latest git version (sometimes I end up actually installing my dev. version!). Will reinstall...

Works without issues on Linux (Manjaro, uptated today!) But... it does **not** work on windows 10 either! It may somehow be connected to the fact that the template in question...

@sassman I could use a little help here - don't know why it fails on windos and mac - and I don't have access to either atm. :-(

Had a hunch, tried it - and it worked... I do not *understand* why it was a problem though, and that bothers my slightly autistic brain though!

@sassman have you left us dear friend? Still busy with real life?
