Thanks @glennjones, appreciate the update. @mixedpuppy is this something you can help with? In particular can we at least answer (here in the issue) the questions that @glennjones raises in...
I think a README note should suffice for now. link-rel-parser-php was intended as code sharing, not any attempt of making something standalone
Added comments to both link_rel_parser.php and get_rel_webmention.php both explicitly documenting their dependencies on CASSIS: https://github.com/indieweb/link-rel-parser-php/blob/master/src/IndieWeb/link_rel_parser.php#L7 https://github.com/indieweb/link-rel-parser-php/blob/master/src/IndieWeb/get_rel_webmention.php#L8
I am the only contributor to get_rel_webmention.php which I've already licensed CC0 inline in the file. I'm the primary author of the (non-test) code in link_rel_parser.php which I've also licensed...
Consider re-using https://avatars0.githubusercontent.com/u/1208576?v=3&s=280 for a logo (logo of https://github.com/pubsubhubbub/) as a nod to the predecessor to WebSub. Would be cool to give a nod to @PubSubHubbub with a limited edition...
Consider using: https://indieweb.org/File:webmention-logo.svg and horizontal "Webmention" underneath it, same horizontal alignment as others. OR change it to use a hex version of https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/719410954497200128/rXuEEpQu_400x400.jpg along with "Webmention.rocks" as the text underneath
Consider making an "M" with downarrow attached to the right foot, similar type treatment as the Webmention W^ arrow: https://indieweb.org/File:webmention-logo.svg OR consider replacing with hex crop of https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/786336434282123264/HCVaBXyr_400x400.jpg with text...
@aaronpk closest we have to "brand" guidelines on microformats.org AFAIK: http://microformats.org/wiki/logo logo-text shows clearly lowercase
Also, consider "microformats.org" instead of just "microformats" as the text underneath the sticker. URLs work - says all the billboards, tv shows, etc.
I'd lean toward CC0 since that's consistent with the wiki(s) (including microformats.org), and could live with dual licensing with MIT since that seems to add something for some folks? One...
