I think it's probably just easiest to mirror the JOSM file on systemed.net.

Will use this logic but want to check first whether it can be done without try... catch (which is usually a last resort).

Like the idea of making it more accessible, but would rather do it in the Google Maps way (an unobtrusive disclosure triangle) rather than adding another toolbar icon for something...

I'll draw some icons for this when I get a minute.

I have a branch to test this and looking at it properly is my next todo. :)
