Besides the new warning at runtime, it seems to be working ok on Nougat. The new NDK 25 also shows a lot more warnings, especially when building openssl.

I'm using a device running android nougat and the position is not being saved when exiting playback and starting it again. Do I need to use the api 29 version?...

Unfortunately, the api 29 version did not fix the issue with saving the position on Android Nougat.

Does this have to do with the way Android is killing the mpv application? On linux, I have to hold Shift+q for the position to be saved.
