Publish Point Tool De-selects after each click

When we integrate the vision system this will not be as big a deal, but this is very irritating for this application. It looks like it was an intentional decision. Here is the code. There is a slot called updateAutoDeactivate() that I think can be used to turn it off, but I'd have to figure out how to do that.

I haven't exercised this feature of rviz, how do I reproduce it in this application?
