date not working

date default in current date. However when i set any other date value, it still shows current date only when datepicker comes up. Any solution for this?

Hey, When I am selecting "Times Square NY" from dropdown, it is getting converted to "Manhattan, NY 10036, United States" . But i want to display "Times Square NY" only....
