I added the line to conf/production.conf and restarted the JATOS service - unfortunately there was no change. There are no temporary files in the tmp directory. They are probably deleted...

That's what I did in the second box of my previous post but obviously just enabling 3rd party cookies and reloading the page is not enough. Restarting Chromium it worked....
