Many thanks for your pull request. I've opted for a slightly simpler solution: you can override DropTarget#onExpired() and just handle the PageExpiredException there.

Mouse events would have to be replaced with touch events, maybe we could introduce/use an abstraction like http://stephband.info/jquery.event.move/

Mapping touch to mouse events seems to be a common topic. Does https://github.com/RushPL/jquery.touch-mouse work?

i have no objections against another integration, AFAIKS that would work via REST calls to Strava, right?
