This is a good idea, but for now, there are plugins that exist for spigot that remove the spigot "player joined the game" text like this one for example: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/remove-join-leave-messages.83684/

check out this link [https://github.com/MultiChat/Development/wiki/Troubleshooting#1-plugin-commandspermissions-are-missing-or-not-working](https://github.com/MultiChat/Development/wiki/Troubleshooting#1-plugin-commandspermissions-are-missing-or-not-working) I also recommend you join Multichat's discord for support [https://discord.gg/PVreERC](https://discord.gg/PVreERC)

i dont think this is a multichat issue

is your server using something below Minecraft 1.16?

at the bottom of your config.yml, make sure you have the legacy servers setting setup correctly https://github.com/MultiChat/Development/wiki/config.yml legacy_servers: - MyOldLegacyServerHere - MyOldLegacyServerHere2

There was a previous chat plugin that i used, I cant remember which one, that had a feature like this. although, their implementation of it was kinda confusing to me....

1-) i +1 that 3-) +1 4-) +1 although i dont use staff or group chat
