For me it works now with the newest version. But it only set the new viewpoint. It would nice to have a fly to the new viewpoint.
For me it is also important, because we use ubid for buildings which is a string. To use states we need to use this as id.
204 means empty response right? But it's zero bytes so there is no data. I think you should check the mbtile source. Maybe with a different tool.
