My guess is this was related to a change in RStudio. I've opened a support ticket with them to see if we can track down what may be causing this.

@shmoeaz @broslavski I'm on macOS Ventura (not arm64, though), and was unable to reproduce the issue. Are you both running M1 machine? I tried modifying various security settings as well....
