I've experienced this as well. data coming from a callback in a separate react lib built with typescript. Fortunately I maintain the typescript lib so I was able to workaround...

I understand the principle but... if you could allow this without any negative effects, it would make life easier for any dev starting with Doxa and is not fully aware...

For me this is not an urgent fix because I've worked around it. I'm just logging it for reference in case any work happens on that code later on.

I hit something like this using greenlight-kaocha. it only failed in CI (could not reproduce locally) and fail-fast masked the failing assertion so it was hard to find the culprit....
