Had a similar issue, appeared due to a nested Tab Navigator, workaround provided in https://github.com/IjzerenHein/react-navigation-shared-element/issues/77

Still getting this issue with 3.1.4, the fix above didn't work for me...

The above works to disable items. However if you are looking to scroll, the disabled items don't respond to dragging.
