the file tree shows the folder of the currently active tab - they don't have to be from the same subfolder. with your suggestion this would get very, very messy!...

you can drag a tab to create a new window the scrollbar at the right already shows you search results, found words, bookmarks, ... and you can change the zoom...

undo does undo the last action. So if you paste a whole text, then that text will get undone. If you simply type, an undo will undo what you've typed...

Ctrl+Shift+F also toggles the tree view.
