I'll try to do that client-side later but I'm new to ruby(this is first ruby project in my practice) so it'll take some time.

This issue happened when I tried installing touche today. Def appstream-util bug.

So, here is the solution, just use the latest version of [appstream-glib](https://github.com/hughsie/appstream-glib). I used the official [PKGBUILD](https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/tree/packages/appstream-glib/trunk) for the arch package, but replaced the commit hash with the latest one....

Is anyone working on this feature? If not, I could give it a try, because I would really like this feature (and have it optional of course).
