This wouldn't take any more flash memory than is in use now. Is program memory so tight that another menu wouldn't fit? I'd certainly not want to remove other features....

It would be nice if there was a way to trigger a screen blank and redraw.

The touchscreen is a bit twitchy (understandable), but I've accidentally triggered the touchpad a few times and couldn't cancel it without changing the value.

It might be interesting to add webview to the branch that pulls by tag. Use the webview on articles tagged with 'webview' ...
