Make water non detectable by lidar
In real life, lidar is absorbed by water instead of reflected. Do you know how to make the water non detectable by lidar in Gazebo? Essentially removing the ground plane in a way.
Do you have an idea how collision between lidar rays and the water can be detected for filtering?
Could try adding a <laser_retro> element with a low value to the waves visual.
