@variable You are calling `instrument` and setting some env from the manage.py, where did you setup the telemetry pipeline i.e creating exporter -> creating provider -> setting the global provider?...

@variable try setting the --metrics_exporter to none. If you don't set anything it defaults to gRPC. ``` opentelemetry-instrument --traces_exporter otlp_proto_http --metrics_exporter none python manage.py runserver ```

@pranay01 I am not aware of this bug. I will look into it. The other PR which solved the dashboards issue solved a different problem.
