### What happened?  *This error occurred on both deesktop & mobile versions of Obsidian* Frontmatter & unbracketed key-value pairs performed as expected, however an empty bracketed inline data overwrites...

This might be a limitation with how metadata is handled, but shortcodes in frontmatter won't render if queried elsewhere, but shortcodes in inline metadata do.
