Also not sure about whose cookie you're referring to. The provider or the app? If provider then maybe 0.2.5 will work. It fixed one case when user is logged out...

I've fixed it so it doesn't have this error on npm v7, but this repo was made using yarn so not sure how well it really works.

You can try the SourceDisabled event. Though you'll need to keep track if pages were scanned yourself.
