Sorry for the delay here. Can you be more specific about what you mean by "conditional elements in nested elements" and the exact error you're seeing?
It already doesn't depend on `react-dom`: https://github.com/reactjs/react-art/blob/d98e74e2af1d8dd1316dd78fc4b3173048e43d40/package.json#L20-L26 (That's not a practical help right now since there aren't any other DOM renderers.)

This is a little tough. When global and window are both present but differ, global is generally the true global object. It's not clear in what cases it would be...
