Ah just seen this thread – I have a PR that upgrades the base Snap to core22. If there are no problems then I think it makes sense to offer...

Have never used snap before; took a crack at this; almost lost my sanity.

This also occurs when the system theme is changed from light to dark or vice versa.

It seems quite unlikely that the SN team would implement this, so I would suggest upvoting the [feature request](https://github.com/Ionaru/easy-markdown-editor/issues/329) in the EasyMDE repository.

This was fixed in EasyMDE (https://github.com/Ionaru/easy-markdown-editor/commit/890c72589e7f7deab2c3c3f165619814dd4959e6) and has since been pulled into Markdown Pro.
