It would be awesome to have an MLKit implementation for this plugin as the current version is not working well for us (it isn't able to scan some barcodes...)

The `--hot` option breaks when used with `useScriptModules`

+1 It throws an error: [ReactRefreshPlugin] Hot Module Replacement (HMR) is not enabled! React Refresh requires HMR to function properly.
