Since the PR referenced (https://github.com/opscode-cookbooks/enterprise-chef-common/pull/25) above is merged has this issue been resolved?

"ImportError: No module named fields" when install

Yes. I have also encountered and verified the suggested solution. We will try and get this fixed and release soon.
