It's probably a worthwhile idea to publish a fork if this package is abandoned.

Azure Pipelines check out detached commits, not branches, because the branch can change between pipeline runs. You can get the actual branch name with `process.env.SYSTEM_PULLREQUEST_SOURCEBRANCH` for pipelines triggered by PRs...

This is a fairly impactful issue, since fixing it requires manual inspection, and supply chains can't be set up reliably.

As the host, I've not seen it happen myself, but the reports from clients are that it seems to happen after quitting and rejoining, and they find the wrong items...
