I would guess the major trouble is #352.

You forgot to include header files (gmp.h, etc), as it was promised in https://github.com/aleaxit/gmpy/issues/352#issuecomment-1839013507

@casevh, probably this could be closed? 2.2.0a2 is available on the Github releases page, with some binary wheels included. But it's missing on PyPI.

gmpy2 repo has demo/ directory with extension, that demonstrate using C API: it converts arguments to GMP's types, do factorization in C, using GMP functions, then converts result back to...

@smprather, now v2.2 is released. Does this issue is valid for you?

Documentation was changed a lot in the development version, could you try it? Unfortunately, #358 is still valid. But you can go to the actions page, get recent successful run...
