This [version](http://jsfiddle.net/pSTW3/4/) is better, no javascript required. Just prevents the correct context menu from appearing when right clicking on the image. Getting closer.
I have a modified version working as pure css. I will have to create a javascript fall back so I can create a perfect fit for the overlay.
The overlay height is wrong on mobile or doesn't change. It sucks basically.
