Hmmm IMO the NPM warning should be sufficient. If you feel strongly about the warning, feel free to open a PR for it and add me as a reviewer.

@denisdekh This should be resolved in v0.20.0 of the extension. Can you please confirm if the issue got fixed after updating the extension?

Marking this as closed- I manually tested in windows and I don't see this error anymore with v0.20.0 of the extension. Please file a new issue if you're still running...
