It's a good option too, but also remember that when you cancel a scan and rerun the same target, the tool skip the steps already performed ;)

From my POV I prefer to be notified about new findings but keeping the results in the same place/files/folders. But could be added as a feature in cfg like "DIFF_NEWFOLDER=true"

The diff feature relies on anew tool to get the new assets found, so if we save the output in a different folder it will not compare against the original...

I like the idea, but note that reconFTW already uses notify tool to send you messages via chat apps, it also prints the results and the status of the steps...
