I think that would make sense. Especially as IIRC one of the goals is to be as self-contained as possible and [get rid of both Bootsrap and JQuery](https://github.com/Pelican-Elegant/elegant/issues/429)

I agree with @iranzo that it might make sense to put it outside of the box. How about hanging it off the top-right edge? See attached mock-ups:
