I haven't changed the default. https://github.com/jremmen/vim-ripgrep works for me

CoffeeScript compiler statically compiled

Maybe you could extend syntax to compile to [TypeScript](http://www.typescriptlang.org/) and Source Maps to get type information. It's long shot I guess.

Also serve CSS & images, auto-load CSS

I think css should be served from `~/.css` and images from `~/.images` or the extension base directory should be renamed to `~/.dotjs`

Should blank values be considered as "set"?

I think there's no single use case when empty string is useful input. I'd go with pragmatic approach and treat `?` methods just as `blank?` in rails.

I think this idea is awesome, but is not relevant to secure environment variables. Btw. I had issues on CircleCI with environment variables on testing. It would be nice if...
