We will need a more concrete test on this, to prove that architectury is causing this issue. Architectury does not modify networking, we only use an EventChannel. (Ping on response)
Are you sure that it is the latest cloth api? it says 2.0.54 in your crash?

Cloth Config is definitely required for Auto Config, I've no plans to change this. Plus, if a mod only JIJ Auto Config, they will crash anyways because of the lack...
