However there are currently no ways to differentiate between snow layers and let's say torches. as snow layers actually cover the overlay
I feel like I will do the opposite the of that, make an exclusion for flowers and torches to not offset the display.
It is no longer possible to detect mushroom biomes on the client anymore since mojang made the biomes data based.
That doesn't take in account the actual biome spawn settings, and unfortunately, some servers don't seem to send that.
Can you try without canvas
We could shift the screen to the left a bit, but Minecraft guis lack horizontal space so that's a bit annoying
