PSTV L2/R2

Is there any way to make this possible? I want to remap the right rear touch pad to R2 and the left rear touch pad to L2 in the Jak and Daxter Collection (I actually got it playable and fantastic looking using Vitagrafix and LOLICON on my PSTV but the touch controls still make the handheld the only real way to play it).

The annoying thing is you have to press R3 on the PSTV to emulate the rear touch pad which might cause issues the way the vpk works when remapping.
