Unable to access in-game menu on Mega Everdrive (pre-X series model)

Retested on v7.4 and with my V1 Mega Everdrive and the issue is still present. Tested with both "Passthrough Mode" and "Hotkeys Disabled" settings toggled on and off to compare....
