To fix this, we just need delete one file (Network Persistent State), at least for me with my pull request applied `rm ~/.config/WhatsDesktop/Network\ Persistent\ State `

`rm -rf ~/.config/WhatsDesktop/Service\ Worker/` seem to work , don't forget close session in your mobile also

try my pull request please, I use it on ubuntu 18.04 and Fedora 31
