Could be due to using a newer compiler version, but should still be a bug in our code somewhere.
Since it seems to be a bug in monero, I'd say no. I doubt they would downgrade compiler for such a niche program like monero-blockchain-ancestry.
Our release binaries use boost 1.64. Would it be useful to bump it? If yes, which version would you suggest?
AFAIK there is no reason for Boost 1.64. We can upgrade to Boost 1.68 without any changes (#6693), if we want a even newer version some changes to the depends...
I applied this pull request locally and comments 5 commit is missing... not sure what's going on
Can you try re-importing with --log-level 2 and see if it gives any clues? Do you have a backup of the wallet cache from before it OOMd?
