@thestinger can you reproduce with the getmonero.org binaries?
Same here, which operating system are you using? Which version do you use?
Did this happen once or does it happen every single time?
@NguBilal it most likely means that the wallet can't save correctly. In which folder did you have your wallet saved? Also can you try to start monero-gui as administrator?
I'm not sure if "desktop entry" and "desktop shortcut" are the same thing, according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/desktop_entries it adds an entry to the application menu and not the desktop.
> Adjusting KDF Rounds Invalidates Current Password That's intended behaviour. Maybe you can change the issue title to something like "warn when adjusting KDF Rounds"
Does not work unfortunately, to save something inside the wallet cache you first have to decrypt it, which requires the amount of KDF rounds.
It has been years and no one took initiative to setup a irc2p bridge so I will close this. Getting a Libera Matrix bridge setup is higher priority currently.
Closing this since a lot of time has passed and we are working on tweaking RandomX.
Let's keep track of the GUI reproducible build status in the GUI repo.
