This screen should show when closing monero-gui, does it freeze before that?
I will try to compare the code differences between exiting directly and exiting to wizard.
Nothing obvious... Both use closeWallet() with a callback. Can one of you open monero-wallet-gui from the command line, set log level to 4 in Settings -> Log, and then close...

The default lookahead is 50 accounts and 200 subaddresses per account.
Can you try the GUI binary from getmonero.org? It's possible that the flatpak version was compiled without Trezor support.
@BigmenPixel0 any idea if this changed recently or did flatpak always miss Trezor support?

@BigmenPixel0 I would need to see build logs, easiest for now is to revert everything. I'd guess it's related to the protobuf update.
