For testing purposes, does using monero-wallet-cli work when doing the same transaction (amount / receiver)?
Save the patch in a file called patch.txt, then do `git apply patch.txt` and then build monero and use this binary.
You apply that to the monero repository and then you build monero and use the resulting `monerod`.
Can you explain what you did exactly to "resync"?
