Any updates on this? I was trying with the kinect 1414 as well as the 1473 using the kinectv1 lib but kept getting the same error. "No Kinect devices found....

I tired: $ sudo dpkg --force-all -i ardu... and it gave me a warning about the kernel mismatch but looks like it is running.
