Conversion of body to CRLF does not help here because body is not ascii_only so does not get converted. Instead to search for CR?LF (optional CR) in which case conversion...

A library such as this should ideally not report errors and warnings using Kernel.warn or similar. This is because it is difficult for callers to detect when such events occur....
