Plotting colors from obsm

As far as I'm aware, there's no way to plot columns in obsm directly. This usually leads to copying all columns from obsm into obs and deleting them afterwards again. Being able to plot directly from obsm would make this more straigthforward. I could use MuData for these things but it feels weird to use PCs or similar as an assay in MuData.

Just to clarify: with “plot columns in obsm”, you mean sourcing colors from there specifically? Because the issue text doesn’t emntion colors, while the title does!
