Yes, you can use it like that. Simply skip the port forwarding and dynamic DNS setup if you don't need those.

what are the errors your are seeing? Where is it "getting stuck"?

Certainly possible. Just review the $_GET and $_POST parameters that are passed into the PHP script and send those programmatically instead of from the form.

Everything should be present in the heliowatcher.lbr library file, from my recollection - you might have to relink against it?
