The test failure seems to come from a flaky test (I am not reproducing the issue nor do I see how it could relate to this PR).
Yes exactly, the issue is `varnishtest` exits before collecting the output meaning the log does not contain why `varnishd` failed, for example due to permission errors or a missing file...
