Same issue here with Chrome Version 118.0.5993.70 - activate does not seem to have any effect.

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there is a solution for this one on the horizon? As far as I understand, @jllanfranchi workaround disables GPU for both oscillation and reco stages?...

The reason I bring this is up is that @JanWeldert is now running pseudo-experiments and one of them takes around 1 hours (3 fits) to converge.
