How I understood it: - after recording, a user has converted their data to BIDS and it passes the validator - now they want to screen the raw data and...

> Ignoring it meaning: simply doing the annotation (and therefore marking more data as "bad" than necessary), or not doing the annotation for now? I'd go for **doing**, and marking...

yes, I think that's accurate. As for getting in touch, issues here: https://github.com/bids-standard/bep021/ or comments here https://bids.neuroimaging.io/bep021 would work as well.

agreed! BrainVision electrode coordinates from the `[COORDINATES]` section are very often template positions, and **not** measured (I haven't encountered another situation as of yet ... and I really did try...

I think this question is related to two overarching questions: 1. which data should have precedence: the one in the neural data ... oder the one in the BIDS sidecars....

You have a point and I would be fine with sending an appropriate log message and/or re-iterating this point in the docstr and/or a tutorial.

For a recent discussion on what "entities" are BIDS compliant for `electrodes.tsv`, see: https://github.com/bids-standard/bids-examples/issues/244 my hunch is that if you changed electrodes, then it should be a different session, not...

> One session would be here maybe a day that could consist of multiple measurements. Okay, but even if you (as researchers) refer to the visit of a participant on...

> we removed that in master, right? what do you mean exactly? What I am now constantly worrying about is #709. In brief: So far we've been writing all kinds...

> even when we are in MNI space (e.g., "space-MNI152NLin2009bAsym" and "iEEGCoordinateSystem": "Other") if you are in `MNI152NLin2009bAsym` space, why don't you set `"iEEGCoordinateSystem": "MNI152NLin2009bAsym"`? the `space` entity and value...
