One current issue with ipa-dict is [Heterophones are not present in the list](https://github.com/open-dict-data/ipa-dict/issues/23)
Looks like `ipa-dict` is mostly okay for the US variant of English, so it might be worth using this as a basis instead of `en_UK`.
I'm not 100% sure either. Looking through the project though it looks like adding a `browser` property would be sufficient. However it's difficult to know for sure without testing it.
